Just enable Motion Tracking in your camera settings: locate it in the PTZ menu on your NVR, or turn it on via the motion settings tab in the app.
Max WiFi distance is tested in open spaces (reference only). Walls or interference will shorten it. Fix this easily: head to NVR Network Settings, tap Adaptive Channel, and let the NVR auto-select the best channel for peak performance.
No, xmartO cameras are permanently free to use. You can use a microSD card for local storage, with free live viewing and playback included. Cloud storage is available as an optional add-on, but it is never mandatory.
